"Come Follow Me"

My NEW favorite Sunday is the week that one of our girls teaches the lesson!!  It is so fun to see what she has prepared and how she presents it!  These girls are SOOOOOO smart and tech savvy!!  (they know how to unlock iPad screens!!)  Julianna had an awesome way of getting everyone involved while playing a game!  Tori handed out candy with different drawings on the bottom instead of numbers for turns for reading or sharing.  Others had cool visual aids, videos, inspirational handouts and yummy brownies!!  I am learning so much from these young GIANT spirits and their testimonies are strong!  I LOVE this format of teaching! It is called
"Come Follow Me"... it is a simple phrase...

Luke 18:22 "Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me."

The BEST part about November is THANKSGIVING!!  And the BEST part about Thanksgiving is PUMPKIN PIE!!!(and giving THANKS!!! lol!)

Our leaders taught our girls how to make homemade pumpkin pie and then every girl got to take home her OWN pumpkin pie to bake at home!  What a fun night and a fun treat to share with their family!
We also talked about things we are thankful for!

I LOVE MY GIRLS!!!

I LOVE MY GIRLS!!!  I found out I needed to have some what of major surgery that is going to put me down for a while.  My sweet young women got together and made me a hospital/recovery care package and a few of them came by to drop it off!  Brynna gathered up get well wishes and printed them up and framed it for me!  I brought it with me to the hospital!  My mom had everyone who came into the room (every Dr, nurse, tech, food, flower delivery, house keeping, etc..) read it!!!  I LOVE reading all of my lovely notes!   :)
Chrysta made me a hand made cross with my initial on it!  Super sweet!!  Sis Link also got me a totally stylish bag filled with goodies to last me a while!!  I LIVED off the mini crackers the first couple of days after surgery- MY LIFE SAVOR!!!
This is me after surgery.... totally drugged up and loopy but feeling the love and and power of LOTS of prayers!!!  So grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who KNOWS and LOVES each one of us!  THANK YOU for your thoughts and prayers, kind words, dinners, flowers, balloons, calls, texts, facebooks, and CRACKERS!!!  I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Game ON!!!

I love how all of our girls stand as a witness of God at times, in all things, and in all places!  They have beauty, pose, and can kick some tail in sports!  I love well rounded young women.  These girls study hard, attend seminary, work on personal progress, are athletic teammates, and righteous
daughters of Heavenly Father!

HELLO DOLLY!

What a fun night for us out on the town... er.. City of Whitehouse!!!  Our very own Caden and Emmaline were in the musical HELLO DOLLY!!  (and Tommy and Brandon helped build the set)  My favorite two performers really were Caden and Emmaline!!!  They could sing, dance, act, and Emmaline had the crying part down pat!  I loved that they had the support from Bullard ward AND Whitehouse ward!!!  We love y'all and are so proud of y'all for letting your talents SHINE!!!
