Steal the BACON!!!

 NO PIGS WERE HARMED IN THIS EVENINGS GAMES!!!

 Super fun night of STEAL the BACON our Mia Maids came up with!  We divided the group into two teams and once a number was called out- that individual would have to run to the center of the room to retrieve the "bacon" aka pig and bring back pass the black line before getting tagged by the other team. 

 

 

 

 Sis Link went above and beyond and made refreshments to match the BACON theme!  Yes folks, those are cookies with pieces of BACON in them!!!  Kind of salty and bites of chewy bacon pieces.... a ONCE in a life time experience for me, but I can now cross that off my list of interesting things served!

HEART ATTACK!!

Last nights activity was so much fun!  We EMBARKED on a super fun HEART ATTACK project!!!  Not the kind that you end up in the ER, but one that you find yourself feeling GREAT!!  The girls all made valentine's ahead of time, and Alyssa even brought a special bag of popcorn for each house!  We "attacked" each door with TONS of hearts and left a box of chocolates and homemade cookies.  The girls valentines were SUPER cute and very creative!!!  We also typed up LOVE scriptures for them! 

 "Ring the door now?" -no  "Ring the door now???"  -not yet...  "Ring the..."  NOW!!!

 This house the girls said "they are sitting on the couch watching us..."  lol!  still a surprise!!!

 Our first stop of the night!  The girls all moved quick and quiet!  So much fun with the adrenaline rush of not getting caught!!

 Our final stop had us on a wild goose hunt!!  Abbie made a much better GPS!!  See the pic below.... ya... that is NOT a road, but a grassy drop off!!!!  And the house was on the other side of the highway! LOL!  All is well!  We made it and all the homes LOVED their surprise!!  Hope everyone can feel our Heavenly Father's love all of us this Valentine season and all year long!

ready for a RED PARTY!!

 

February is the month of LOVE and it is our value month for Individual Worth!  How perfect that the color is red!!!  Sheri planned out a super fun party where everyone showed up wearing RED!!! and everything we had was RED!!  She made red Kool-aid and RED cupcakes!  She "RED" us a story about loving one another and how to be kind!  Her lesson was on becoming a BUCKET FILLER!!! she then presented each girl with their own "bucket" filled with 14 paper cut outs.  For two weeks the girls were challenged to fill out each paper FILLING what they did that day to be kind to someone else.  It could be as simple as a smile.  It has been awesome to read the texts from the girls about what they have done to fill their buckets so far!  Sheri has promised a prize at the end of two weeks for everyone who fills out all fourteen sheets, but the REAL prize will be the blessing and the great feeling they will experience while serving others! 

 

                       Individual Worth

We also spent some of the evening getting ready for next weeks HEART ATTACK activity!!!  We cant wait to surprise a few families!!

Have I mentioned how AWESOME and AMAZING our girls are?  I love them all and I am so proud of the beautiful young women they are inside out!!! 

We worked on passing off Individual Worth #3- Read Doctrine and Covenants 18:10 and 121:45. Do all you can to build others and make them feel of worth. Every day for two weeks notice the worthwhile qualities and attributes of others. Acknowledge them verbally or in writing. In your journal write what you have learned about the worth of individuals and how your own confidence grows when you build others.
