Feed My SHEEP!!
My FAVORITE lessons are the ones where the girls teach!!! They are so creative and come up with the coolest lessons! I LOVE hearing their sweet testimonies and listen to them TEACH!!! We have some MIGHTY youth!!! This week Brittney and Julianna co-taught the lesson on Feeding the sheep!!! The lesson was awesome! They even had a hand out (shrinky dinks), treats (some chocolate peanut butter heavenly goodness), and a coloring sheet (lol- we all colored our sheep/lambs different. It was funny to see all the different colorful animals!)
Here is more of their lesson:

Our NEW Beehive!
So much fun to "kidnap" new beehives to come into Young Women's!!! Kiya was SUPER excited to join our group!!! We have waited a long time and are so glad to have you with us! WELCOME WELCOME!!!
Young Women BLING!
I had a discussion with a new Beehive about the Young Women's necklace all young women receive. She was so excited that a famous Olympian had the same GOLD BLING on!!! Check it out!
WHITE ELEPHANT
The young men planned out this fun activity! Everyone had to come with a wrapped new (no more than $10), used, or homemade gift to exchange!
THE GIFTS!!!
Cami got all the cool stuff.... and then got it all taken away!!
Angpao was super cute! She had never heard of a "WHITE ELEPHANT"- the girls warned her it had NOTHING to do with a REAL animal! ha ha!
MONEY!
Brittney's best seller- All My Friends are Dead...... okay...
Meghan got an awesome steal of the night! An iTunes gift card... funny... there was more candy in the tin...
watch out! He's got a gun!!!
Anyone seen Tucker?
Angpao didn't want to give up her awesome gift.... sweet Dylan caved and let her keep it!
FRA-GEE-LAY!!!
(Fragile!)
Movie night at Alyssa's!
This was probably the funniest gifts of the night! Abbie carefully chose her gift from the remaining gifts left in the pot. (it was the BIGGEST!) Her besties were eagerly looking on to see what marvelous gift laid inside...
Alyssa figured it out quick and I think Cami was still in a little shock! ha ha!
Quickly the gift is figured out to be the best WHITE ELEPHANT of the night! (and most hilarious!)
Abbie's prize gift (sorry Abbie- you are too cute to pull off that goofy look!)
Caden was next and there was no doubt which gift he HAD to have!!! lol- he quickly displayed in his room that night!!
We LOVE Riley!
His choosing ended the game and this was his gift.
SHINE: A Night of STARS!
Our Young Women's in Excellence theme was SHINE; A Night of Stars! We focused on the Christmas star since we were getting close to Christmas. We talked about how the wise men studied the scriptures, followed prophesy, and traveled from far away lands to seek the king of kings! Wise men still seek HIM today! So do wise young women when they read their scriptures, say their prayers, attend seminary and church meetings, and participate in church activities and personal progress!
Tonight the girls were our SUPER STARS and they SHINED!!! We had them each come to the front and share what they have a been doing in personal progress!
Meghan talked about family and how her mom said one of the "MUST HAVES" qualities of being a mom is patience!
Brynna studied up on one of the strength of youth topics on mental and physical health. She learned that eating right and getting enough sleep is important not only to you physically but emotionally and spiritually!
Haley did hers on faith and wrote a story and made a visual all about a seed being planted and how with faith it will grow!
Maddy interviewed several women she admired and asked them what integrity means to them. She shared stories about times when others showed their integrity and how surprised others were in their moral courage.
Tori lead the music for us and told us how she taught a family home evening on service- their favorite game is playing "don't eat Pete!" (she always beats her brothers!)
Julianna brought the coolest cup holder she welded herself with her own design! She learned how to make something new!
Abbie told us about her knitting projects- she has taken this talent and ran with it! She has learned so much and is already working on her next project!
Cami shared about the time she had a visit with Tasha Land about becoming a hair stylist and all the things she taught her!
Even Alyssa being BRAND NEW had already passed off an experience! She said the 13th article of faith and told us about the art museum she visited and how she wants to seek out good things!
Brittney has a beautiful voice and told us about how she sang with her choir for the Christmas program.
Chrysta too shared her love of music and how talents are a great way to express yourself. She encouraged us to share our talents with others (even if we are scared to death!!).
I made every program different! This was just one style cover.
Sis Link made her FAMOUS cupcakes and they were YUMMY!!!
THE GIRLS!!!
